Abstract
Abstract:

• The trainees of technical schools, who were the first academic students of the oil industry, believed that with the nationalization of oil, the time would be kinder to them, the first groups of Iranian oil experts. They came to the fore in the protests against oil nationalization and marked the most eventful days of the battle with the oil company and the military government of Khuzestan. However, after the nationalization of oil, they were seen even less than the workers of the oil industry, and their voices were silenced like thunder and lightning. In historical narratives, the role of experienced workers and labor unions is highlighted, and the role of trainees and students is not sufficiently addressed. This article looks at the trainees as subordinates and marginalized in this event. Addressing the role of trainees as a less studied group in the history of oil nationalization - the careful use of archival documents as a tool to document claims and strengthen the credibility of the research, as well as the article's multidimensional approach in examining the motivations, methods, and consequences of the topic under discussion are among the characteristics of this research.
