Abstract
The macro-discourse of supporting women and the sub-discourse of supporting the health of this group were formed during the 18th to 20th centuries, influenced by the movements and conventions organized by official organizations and institutions supporting women's rights. In this way many developing countries, in the process of facing the new civilization, showed a reflection, of what was going on in the western countries. The main root of attention to women's health in these years can be examined under a new narrative of global development based on focus on women as human resources. The government of MohammadRez Shah was forced to pay special attention to women and their health in order to achieve the goals of the development discourse. The main goal of this research is to clarify the influence of Iranian women's health from global changes. The main question is to what extent the global development programs and the formation of international organizations supporting women affect Iran's policy-making system in the issue of women's health. This research is trying to explain the process of governance policy making and the issue of women's health during the last two decades of the Pahlavi rule in the light of global developments by using documentary and library methods. The findings of this article show that in the course of MohammadRezaShah Pahlavi's desire to implement the development discourse, the government, has been trying to move in sync with the global policies to support women's health and promote the level of Iranian women's health .
