Iranian historiography, despite its variation and plurality, because of its indifference to people and social developments must be criticized. Above all, natural disasters are noticeable. Therefore, present article, after mentioning the most noticeable natural disasters at middle ages of Iran and its consequences, talks about the impact of this fateful issue upon the life of people and state's destiny. The findings show that at this period natural disasters like earthquake, flood, drought, snow, cold, and storm had unpleasant consequences such as famine, infectious disease and decreasing in population. States almost didn't prevent and reduce the demolishing power of those disasters somehow because of their dictatorship, their being foreigner, their nomadic character, natural circumstances of Iran and ….
