The change in the role of women, which began with the Constitutional Revolution due to participation in social affairs, was realized during the Pahlavi era by redefining the role of women during the government's Westernization program to give the appearance of innovation to society. In this process, the role of the press, especially women's publications, in laying the groundwork for informing them and preparing minds to accept new social roles is noteworthy. In parallel with the change in the role of women, the structure of the home also underwent a fundamental change and, by rejecting the duality of the inner and the outer, became a system free of gender. The main question of the research is how the spatial-physical structure of the home changed, corresponding to the change in the role of women in the texts of women's magazines including; Zanban Zaman, Jahan Zaman, Alam Nesvan, Alam Zaman, Dukhtar Iran and Jamiat Nesvan Watan Khah, during the first Pahlavi era. The results of the research, which was conducted using the qualitative content analysis method, show that the press, by educating, promoting science and strengthening individual identity, first revived the role of women in the family and prepared the groundwork for their presence in society. In this transition, the modern home became a symbol of the modern woman, and with the introduction of women as the center of the family, the spatial-physical structure of the home changed and became a place for the presence of resourceful and aware women.
